Functioning cells belong in the battery—not in recycling.

mcc© enables the non-destructive disassembly of a battery pack down to cell level. Instead of discarding an entire battery system because of individual damaged or aged cells, the functioning components remain in use.

The BMS also plays a decisive role here. Through continuous monitoring of the individual condition of each cell, it is possible to determine exactly which cell actually needs to be replaced and which cells can continue to be used reliably.

Early detection prevents the entire battery pack from continuing to be used until its overall performance declines significantly and a complete replacement may appear necessary.

mcc© - nachhaltige Vorteile

  1. Targeted replacement of only the affected cells reduces the burden on the recycling cycle
  2. The significantly longer service life of the battery pack conserves resources and protects the environment
  3. Clean separation of battery housing components (plastic/metal) from lithium-containing cells enables targeted and more efficient recycling
  4. In the future, new, higher-performance cells can be used in the same battery housing, thereby reducing unnecessary electronic waste
